Coverage guide
A short read before you book. It explains the styles of photography and videography we offer, and what each one covers.
Candid vs Traditional photos
Two different styles of photography, shot by different photographers and edited differently. Most couples choose both.
Candid Photos
Moments as they happen
Traditional Photos
Rituals and group photos
What it is
Natural, unposed photographs of emotions, reactions and details during the rituals and events. Posed couple portraits are also shot by the candid photographer, before the event begins.
Photographs of the rituals, and group photos of family and guests on stage.

Who it focuses on
Mainly the couple (about 90%), with close family such as parents and siblings (about 10%).
Family and guests, along with the rituals.
How it's shot
Close and unobtrusive, with creative angles and natural light. People aren't asked to pose during the event. It's a creative, artistic way of shooting, so it does not cover every ritual in full.
Composed and directed, with everyone arranged and looking at the camera.
How it's edited
A curated selection of the best frames, colour graded in a consistent style.
Exposure, colour and temperature correction.
What you get
A storytelling selection of your day, not every frame and not every ritual.
Every ritual and every stage group photo covered on the day.
Best for
Albums, social media and photographs that feel alive.
Framed prints, family records and the photographs elders ask for.
Cinematic vs Traditional video
Two different styles of video, shot by different videographers and edited differently. One is not a longer or shorter version of the other, so a Traditional video can't be turned into a Cinematic film as part of your package.
Cinematic Video
The story of your day
Traditional Video
The complete record
What it is
A short, emotion-led film made from the best moments of your event.
A full, in-sequence record of the event, exactly as it happened.

What it includes
Cinematic shots of the bride and groom solo and together, along with testimonials.
Full recording of the rituals, dance performances and reception groups.
How it's shot
Candid and creative: movement, detail shots, natural reactions, light.
Steady and wide, covering every ritual, vow and speech from fixed positions.
How it's edited
Story sequencing, pacing cut to music, colour grading and sound design.
Clean cuts, basic colour correction and natural audio. Minimal creative editing.
Length
Short: a teaser, highlights film and reels.
Long: covers the event in full.
Music
Chosen with you. Our editing team advises on what works best.
None, or light background audio.
Best for
Sharing, social media and a film you'll rewatch.
Family archives, relatives who couldn't attend, a record of every ritual.
Questions we're often asked
Can the visuals match the song lyrics?
Music is selected to suit the mood and rhythm of each film. A wedding is shot live, so we can't line up specific moments with specific lyrics.
Can I choose the song?
Yes, you can choose the song, and our editing team will advise whether it works well with your film. Changing the song after the edit is complete may be charged extra, as it means reworking the edit. We don't encourage changing the song repeatedly, so please finalise your choice early.
Can a Traditional video be made into a Cinematic film?
No. The two are shot differently as well as edited differently, so one can't be turned into the other.
Will every ritual and moment be in the Cinematic film and Candid photos?
No. Both are a curated selection of the day. Complete recording is covered as a part of Traditional coverage.
Which should we choose, Candid or Traditional?
Most couples choose both. Traditional gives you the complete record, and Candid and Cinematic give you the story of your day.
